Online 3D Model Viewer

An online 3D model viewer that opens GLB, GLTF, STL and OBJ files directly in your browser — drag a file in, orbit around it, read its exact bounding-box dimensions, and capture a PNG screenshot. Your files are never uploaded to a server.

Your files never leave your device · No sign-up · Free
Drop a 3D model here or click to browse — supports .glb, .gltf, .stl and .obj
The file is opened locally in your browser. It is never uploaded.

One viewer for the four formats that matter

GLB and GLTF are the web and game formats, STL is the 3D printing format, and OBJ is the classic interchange format from modeling tools. This viewer handles all four with the same controls: orbit with the mouse, scroll to zoom, toggle wireframe to inspect the mesh, and switch the background to check a model against light or dark scenes.

Check the size before you commit

As soon as a model loads, the viewer measures its bounding box and shows width × height × depth. Switch between centimeters and millimeters to sanity-check a print or a game asset before it goes any further in your pipeline.

Private by design

The model is parsed and rendered locally with WebGL. There is no upload step and no server copy of your file — close the tab and the model is gone. That makes the viewer safe for client work, unreleased products and print files you do not want on a third-party server.

Frequently asked questions

Which 3D formats can this viewer open?

GLB, GLTF, STL and OBJ. GLB works best because it is self-contained; a .gltf that references external texture files, or an .obj that needs a separate .mtl and textures, may load without its textures.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no server limit because nothing is uploaded. Practical limits depend on your device memory and GPU; models up to a few hundred megabytes usually open, but very heavy meshes will render slowly.

Are my models uploaded anywhere?

No. Files are read with the browser File API and rendered locally. The site has no upload endpoint and no model storage.

How are the dimensions measured?

From the model's bounding box in its own coordinate units, displayed as centimeters or millimeters assuming 1 unit = 1 cm. STL files carry no unit metadata, so treat STL dimensions as unit-based and confirm the unit in your slicer.
